PHOTO DIARY: GRAND CANYON NATIONAL PARK

G’day from Las Vegas! I’ve been here for the past week celebrating the National Park Service 100th Birthday with the team from Las Vegas Tourism. I’m travelling with a group of brilliant adventure and nature photographers from the US and UK, and so far we’ve been to Utah, Arizona and California on private planes, helicopters and buses, all whilst staying in Las Vegas, Nevada. Talk about dream come true! For this blog post I thought I would share a few photos from our adventure to the Grand Canyon National Park. It was my second trip to the Grand Canyon and it still completely blew me away. Did you know it measures 446 kilometres long, 29 kilometres wide and 2 kilometres deep? It’s also one of the six natural wonders of the world and its colourful rock layers have been formed over millions of years. It really is something quite magnificent!
