WANDERLUST: SEA FOR MILES SUMMER HOUSE, AUSTRALIA

I recently spent a weekender on the NSW south coast and stayed at a gorgeous house in Gerroa. Called Sea For Miles, this beautiful house sleeps ten guests, has five bedrooms and three bathrooms. Offering great freedom of having the whole house to use, I made the most of my time by enjoying the various entertaining areas to relax and unwind. Making it very easy to get away for a whole weekend without having to pre-organise basics such as toilet paper and linen, the house has given consideration to all the creature comforts you would find at home. In fact, I got the distinct feeling Sea For Miles never wants you to leave. Which I was absolutely ok with! Featuring an open plan kitchen and dining area with extra seating to relax and enjoy the panoramic ocean and hinterland views, it was hard to enjoy the other areas of the house simply because the view stole my attention.

Offering a foodie’s heaven with the very best kitchen utilities, the house also has two large living areas, a magnificent library full of novels, craft and gardening books, a spa bath, an indoor table tennis table, iPod docking stations, board games, hammocks, body boards, a gas BBQ and a wood fired oven for pizza and outdoor roasts.

With views overlooking the ocean and hinterland, Sea For Miles is close to shops, cafes and restaurants, and a short six-minute walk to the crystal clear waters of Seven Mile Beach. I highly recommend staying at Sea For Miles if you’re looking for a weekend getaway by the beach.
